Residential Development Proposals

Outline planning permission for the residential development of 142 no. new homes on land off Clifton

Drive, Chester was granted in February 2018.

Anwyl Homes are now the chosen developer to bring this scheme forward. This consultation seeks your views on the details of the housing proposed.

The consultation is open for comments until 21/10/2020

The proposed development could result in a number of benefits for the local community that include:

-Providing much-needed quality and choice to the local housing market through the provision of a mix of one, two, three and four bedroom homes;

-Boosting the local economy through the creation of new jobs on-site and within the supply chain during the construction phase;

-Additional expenditure in local businesses as a result of new households created by the scheme;

-Creating new areas of public open space, including play areas, to benefit both existing residents and future occupants of the new housing.

Following this public consultation, the applicant team will review the comments received, and consider these accordingly. We will then progress to submit a reserved matters planning application to Cheshire West & Chester Council.

We will consider your comments prior to submitting a final application to the Council, who will then assess the application. Cheshire West & Chester Council will undertake their own consultation, providing you with an opportunity to comment on the final scheme.
